Chapter
Five
Prayer, Meditation, and Medication?
"Real Prayer Always Does One of Two
Things...
It Either Frees Us From the Troubles We Fear,
Or Else It Gives Us the Strength and Courage
To Meet Trouble When It Comes."

I
don't know where I heard it, but I do know it's true. Prayer is our talking with God
and meditation and intuition is us listening to God. |
|
Quieting the chatter in our minds at a time like this may seem impossible. If you never
took the time to pray or meditate before this point in your life you're going to find
keeping an open mind helpful to interpret the best method for you. I have always talked
with God (a good friend of mine). Every night I try to say the "Our Father,"
from my heart and soul. Your prayer might be one that you learned. Most of the time I just
plain talk with God and ask for the wisdom I need to best serve Him. I ask that I be His
hands and legs and mouth in this adventure I am on. |
